Produced and demonstrated by (IDNR District Forester) David Johnson, this video shows a fairly safe method for dropping a tree that has fallen against another.  While there is no narration, only brief titles of the steps involved, Mr. Johnson illustrates the method very well.  Notice how he always checks for hazards above him as well as clearing the surrounding area of any obstacles to his escape.  Also, he doesn't try to cut off too much at one time.
