Spring Family Forestry Field Day

This spring, join the Illinois Chapter of Walnut Council, Illinois Tree Farm, and Illinois Forestry Association for a forestry field day! Get your family involved and interested in the tree farm. This year, our field day is designed to bring current management practices and inspiration to all who attend. If you are interested in learning more about forest management and enjoy sharing activities outside with friends and family, this is the event for you.

Registration:

Registration is required and there is a registration fee for this event.

$20 per person or $30 per family

Free registration for students

We encourage you to pay online in advance but you can pay in person the morning of the event.

If you plan to pay the day of at the event, please pay via cash or check.

Note:

• A lunch is included with registration. Lunches include a sandwich, chips, a cookie, and choice of bottled soft drink or water.
• Attendees should dress in proper attire to walk through the woods.
• Items to bring: Water bottle, a hat, sun screen, and snacks.
• Attendees are also encouraged to bring an easily carried folding lawn chair.
