Schuyler County: Chain Saw Safety

Wohlstadter/McVey Farm
The Illinois Tree Farm Committee will hold a one-day chain saw safety workshop on March 31st. The morning session will be classroom instruction and the afternoon will be in the woods. Participants must bring their own personal protective equipment - hardhat with hearing and eye protection, gloves, chainsaw chaps, and boots.
Chainsaws will be provided by the instructor, but participants must provide their own lunch. Drinks and snacks will be available.
Registration fee is $70. Registration is limited to 12 participants based on those who reserve a place first.
