IFA member Dale Shriver called our attention to this device - the Lewis Winch.  It attaches to your chain saw in place of the chain bar, and uses the chain saw's power to drive the winch.  There are several videos about the Lewis Winch on Youtube, if you wish more information.  In the video, you'll see that this winch can move sizable logs.
