This eight-minute video covers several topics -
• the value of forests to the residents of Illinois
• the importance of a healthy understory
• the importance of a forest management plan
It was produced by the Illinois NRCS in conjunction with the Association of Illinois SWCDs with support from the Illinois Department of Agriculture and the Illinois EPA.  There are not many (if any) other videos discussing Illinois forests, and this one offers an excellent summary of benefits and components.

this is a great little video [7 1/2 mins] that can be used for workshops.  Gives a quick oversight into the value of forests and focuses on what is going on in the understory...the future forest to be!  The bald headed forester is questionable!! :)
