ATTENTION CHAINSAW USERS!
Don't miss the first ever complimentary SAFETY IN FORESTRY demonstration day, hosted by the Illinois Chapter of Walnut Council and the Illinois Forestry Development Council.
This event will feature tree felling and chainsaw safety demonstrations by Joe Glenn, a veteran logger and certified Game of Logging instructor. In addition, learn tips from the experts as professional foresters teach safe and effective woodland management techniques. This event will be held in Green County, IL, on June 21st, beginning at 8:30 a.m. (directions below). You must register to attend. Space is limited to 100 participants. Lunch will be provided only to those who register.

DIRECTIONS
From I 72: Take the Winchester exit and continue on Old U.S. 36 west of Winchester. Turn left (south) onto the Eldred Hillview blacktop. Continue south and approximately 4 miles south of Hillview, turn left (east) onto township road 1800 North. Continue ¼ mile and look for the Tree Farm signs.
From I 70: Take state highway 255 north to Godfrey, then onto U.S. 67 north to Carrolton. Turn left (west) onto state road 108 and continue to Eldred. Turn right (north) and continue approximately 6 miles to township road 1800 North. Turn right (east) and continue ¼ mile to the Tree Farm signs.
