Chainsaw Mill Demonstration
Join Illinois Extension Forestry for a free public demonstration on the use and maintenance of a chainsaw mill (aka Alaskan mill). Methods of drying cut lumber will also be discussed. Chainsaw mills are a low-cost option for landowners and others looking to mill timber for various projects. Their ease of transport make them excellent options for milling a tree whether in your backyard or in a forest setting.
