Extension Forester Chris Evans will be conducting a Winter Tree Identification Hike for the Illinois Native Plant Society Southern Chapter at the Dixon Springs Agricultural Center (Simpson, IL) on February 20 at 2pm. We'll discuss the characteristics used to identify trees in winter, practice working through a key, and look at quite a few different native tree species.
