Looking for a volunteer event that can make a positive difference in a Southern Illinois forest near you? Check out this volunteer workday at Trail of Tears State Forest to remove bush honeysuckle.
When: Thursday, December 9th, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Where: Meet at the white barn on State Forest Road (rainday backup date is Thursday, December 16, the same time and place)
Make sure to dress for the weather and bring water, lunch, gloves, boots and eye protection. Snacks will be provided.
