Registration is closed
Workshop for landowners and managers of woodland to spend time with foresters and biologists to help them enhance their woods and promote wildlife.
Sponsors - National Wild Turkey Federation, Corps of Engineers, and the Illinois Forestry Association.
Sessions on conducting TSI; controlling exotic invasives; prescribed burn and TSI demo site tour; chainsaw safety; and cost share programs of IDNR and USDA, especially CREP, EQIP and FDA.
Presenters include Ken Hoene, consulting forester; Lee Mitchell, COE Forester; Kent Adams, NWTF biologist; and a rep from Lilly Timber Service.
