Presentations on Thousand Canker Disease, managing walnut trees in plantations and native stands for nut production, cultivar selection for nut production, nut-meat percentage, and quality, and agroforestry implementation. They also will visit the property of 2009 Tree Farmer of the Year, Mark Nussbaum, for direct seeding and tree planting demonstrations, and discussions on management of maturing timber and sales.
