The River to River Cooperative Weed Management Area, along with our partners at the US Fish & Wildlife Service, Shawnee National Forest, and IDNR will be Pulling for Bats for Bat Week 2016! Details are below and in the attached flier.
October 25: Presentation and nature walk by local bat experts, Matt and Karen Mangan at Crab Orchard NWR Visitor Center from 1pm-2:30pm.
October 27: Weed Pull at Fern Rocks Nature Preserve in Giant City State Park from 9am-Noon.
October 28: Weed Pull at Otter Pond at Larue Pine Hills in the Shawnee National Forest from 9am-Noon.
