Water Resources Webinar: The Importance of Forests to Clean Water, Wednesday, November 18, 12 – 1 p.m. Eastern Time.
This webinar will discuss "forest hydrology" or the movement of water within forested watersheds. The importance of forests in providing clean water and reduced storm water in comparison to other landscapes will also be illustrated, along with the critical processes of infiltration and groundwater recharge.
