Biomass Energy Development Discussion

The Illinois Biomass Working Group (IBWG) will host two informal biomass energy development discussions at the Dixon Springs Agricultural Center near Simpson, IL.  These small gatherings will focus on near-term business opportunities in biomass energy in the southern Illinois region, and steps that can be taken to facilitate that development.  The 3:00 PM meeting is especially aimed at Extension, economic development, organization,  local government personnel, etc. and the 7:00 PM meeting is especially aimed at farmers and landowners -- but both meetings are open to all interested parties.

 

The meetings will be led by IBWG members Dr. Ted Funk of the UIUC Center for Advanced BioEnergy Research and Mr. Eric Rund of Green Flame Energy, Pesotum, IL.

 

This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are requested
