On June 17th, University of Illinois Extension Forestry will be hosting an invasive plant identification workshop from 9-noon at the Dixon Springs Ag Center in rural Pope County. This event is geared towards landowners, Master Naturalists, and other interested folks wanting to learn how to identify the common invasive species in southern Illinois that are impacting our forests and grasslands. This course will include both classroom presentations and a hands-on field tour.
